Goals

We have spent a lot of time this week setting goals for ourselves in second grade.  First, we wrote goals for the year.  The children did a nice job coming up with a variety of math, reading, writing, and science goals.  They are on the board in the hallway.

We also spent time writing goals for reading.  These goals span a shorter period of time and will be tracked during Readers' Workshop.  We will revise and add new goals as appropriate throughout the year.  Ask your child to share their reading goal with you (some still need to be tweaked a little).
